Injection Molding
Our American plastic injection molding facility maintains an extensive collection of modern equipment to meet evolving industry specifications. Our 13 separate injection presses have capacities that range from 55 to 400 tons, tie bar spacing as wide as 36 inches, and shot sizes up to 54 ounces in weight. We are intimately familiar with various commodity resins like polyethylene, polypropylene, and polystyrene and more advanced engineering-grade resins like nylon or polycarbonate that provide superior mechanical and thermal properties for demanding applications. Other common resins we frequently work with include ABS, Acetal, HDPE, LDPE, PVC, and Santoprene.
Engineering Support & Tooling Design
With our expansive technical skillset and partnerships with local manufacturing companies, our team can design and produce tight-tolerance tooling or molds for unlimited product specifications. Our partners maintain a complete catalog of precision CNC machining, milling, and finishing equipment to help achieve tight tolerances on complex designs. Additionally, all tooling and molds are treated with optimized finishes to help enhance mold efficiency and reduce product waste due to tears or imperfections. Assembly, Packaging, & Fulfillment
Very few plastic injection molding companies have the expansive in-house product assembly and order fulfillment capabilities offered at American Plastics. Our team can produce final products from several individual components, complete measured filling operations, apply unique designs through hot stamping and pad printing, and adhere any necessary product labels or UPCs with heat transfer labeling. We’ve helped streamline the production process for many customers and can complete drop shipping services to help your products arrive at national or global distribution centers.
